Last night Jon and I were making the bed. Fitted sheet in hand, both of us rotating it in the air, debating which corner goes where.

Not like a fight. Just the low-grade domestic standoff of two people who both think they're right.

And then I said: why don't we just put it on?

Wrong. Getting it wrong is literally how you get it right. You put it on. You flip it. Done.

We'd spent more time rotating the sheet than it took to be wrong and adjust. The debate was never going to get us closer. Only touching the mattress did that.

Jon asked me why we'd rather stand there arguing than just try.

School trained us out of guessing. You raised your hand, you had the wrong answer, and twenty-three kids watched. That stays with you. It burrows.

I was a dancer. If you miss the pirouette on a recording, that's the girl who got it wrong — frozen in time. The sting is real. I won't pretend it isn't.

But the sting goes away. Everything does, with time. And while you're waiting to feel ready, you're still standing there holding the sheet.

When I started SheFi, I didn't know if anyone would show up. I didn't know if I was qualified. I just knew I was already at zero women in a crypto education community, and the only way to get closer was to try something. The fear of looking stupid almost won. It almost kept me rotating.

Wrong corner first. Then I adjusted.

We call it the fitted sheet test now. When one of us is stuck in our heads, rotating something we can't figure out from the outside, the other just says: try the corner.

You don't need to get it right. You just need to get closer.

  North Korean hackers spent six months on this. Fake token, social engineering, pre-signed admin transactions. They met the Drift team in person at a conference, built trust for months, then emptied three core vaults in 12 minutes. Meeting people IRL isn’t the security layer we thought it was.

• Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin ETF goes live tomorrow April 8—first major U.S. bank to launch its own spot Bitcoin ETF. 0.14% fee undercuts BlackRock’s 0.25%.
  Morgan Stanley manages $6.2 trillion in client assets, 16,000 advisors. Strategy CEO says this could pull $160B into Bitcoin ETFs through Morgan Stanley’s network alone.

• Fox News integrated Kalshi prediction market data across FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX One starting today.
  Kalshi already has deals with CNN and CNBC. 70% of Kalshi visitors just check odds—only 30% trade. Federal Reserve uses Kalshi data. Politicians cite their “Kalshi odds” at rallies. Prediction markets are becoming standard infrastructure for news.

• Matthew Gallagher built a $1.8B company from his LA living room—him, his brother, $20K, and AI tools.
  Medvi hit $401M revenue in year one selling GLP-1 drugs with a 16.2% net margin. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok wrote the code. Midjourney made the ads. Two employees. Sam Altman predicted the one-person billion-dollar company in 2024. Gallagher just proved it.

• Anthropic released Claude Mythos Preview today—but you can’t use it.
  Only 12 partners get access: Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, CrowdStrike. It’s locked down for cybersecurity work only through “Project Glasswing.” Mythos found thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities including bugs in every major OS and browser. One was 27 years old. Anthropic confirmed the leak instead of denying it because this model is too dangerous to release publicly.

• Google rolled out real-time translation through headphones with Gemini—preserves the speaker’s voice.
  Anthropic’s heading for IPO at $19B annualized revenue. OpenAI’s ad business crossed $100M annualized. xAI’s entire founding team exited. Meta delayed Avocado to May—underperforming.

✨ SheFi Takeaway: AI just replaced the entire startup playbook—you don’t need a team anymore. Wall Street’s treating prediction markets and Bitcoin like standard products. The most sophisticated nation-state hackers are spending half a year building trust in person before they strike. And the AI models powerful enough to find every security hole in critical infrastructure are being locked down instead of released. Scale doesn’t mean what it used to.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
