I was sitting across from what I'd call a woo woo business coach.
She told me to close my eyes and imagine my perfect future. Five years out, ten years, whatever I wanted. Picture it clearly. Then tell her — what did I see?
I went blank.
Not nervous-blank. Not overwhelmed-blank. In that moment I couldn't picture what I wanted, full stop.

In the silence that followed, I thought about the women I know who would do the same thing. Women who can read a room, hold a team together, anticipate the ask before it's made. Women so well-trained in other people's wants that their own have gone quiet.
I also thought about a story Jon told me. He had a roommate years ago who had a list — a house in the suburbs, a Costco membership, a blonde wife. He said it out loud, for years. Then he went and got every single thing on it.
There was something in that I had to sit with before I could admit it was instructive.
Not the content of what he wanted. But the clarity. The lack of apology. The straight line between wanting a thing and going after it without first polling the room, hedging the desire, making sure it won't inconvenience anyone.
I'd learned young to soften my wants into something relational. I want the people I love to be happy. I want a job where I learn things. I want things to work out. All true. All beautiful. Also not a plan.
Not named vaguely — named specifically enough that you could measure whether you're living it. Not "I want more freedom" but what does a free Tuesday actually look like.
And then, slowly, the picture came.
I wanted to be a mom. I wanted a big family. I wanted to build a movement that had real impact. I wanted flexibility in my work so I commanded my time on my terms.
Not abstract values. A plan.
You don't go blank because you don't know what you want. You go blank because you know exactly what you want and you're terrified to say it out loud.
Say it anyway.

Introducing SheFi Inner Circle 💫

We keep hearing the same thing from SheFi women: what’s after the cohort? And — more career support, please.
We heard you. And here it is.
For months we’ve been building what comes next. The thing for the woman who finished the six weeks and didn’t want to stop. The woman who wants real career conversations, not just more content. The woman who’s deep in her career and looking for actual support — the kind that comes from people who are still in it with her.
SheFi Inner Circle.
The next layer of SheFi, designed for women already in motion. Women looking for ongoing career support, community, and more intimate relationships with the women building alongside them.
Not a group chat. Not another feed. Not more content.
A room where things actually happen.
Applications are live.
Here’s what’s inside:
6 career workshops a year
Monthly small-group networking sessions
Monthly affirmation + goal-setting sessions with me
Mini podcasts from me
A private job board, with referrals
A gated Telegram, members only
Private events, off-platform
Discounted tickets to industry events
CoinGecko + Trezor discounts — with more partners on the way
Founding member pricing:
$199 a year paid annually, or $250 a year paid monthly.
The first 100 members lock in founding status forever.
If you’ve been waiting for the next thing — this is it.

Crypto + AI Roundup — SheFi Edition 🏇
Crypto Roundup.
KelpDAO lost $9M in a LayerZero bridge exploit that exposed how fragile DeFi collateral chains actually are. Here's what happened: rsETH (KelpDAO's liquid restaking token) was being used as collateral on the LayerZero bridge AND simultaneously lent out on Aave. The bridge used a 1-of-1 DVN (Decentralized Verification Network)—meaning a single validator controlled the bridge security, not decentralized at all. Attacker exploited the DVN to mint unlimited rsETH on the destination chain. Problem: that rsETH had no real backing because the original collateral was already hypothecated twice over. When the fake rsETH flooded Aave, the outstanding loans backed by real rsETH became worth more than the unbacked rsETH collateral in the system. This triggered mass liquidations across DeFi because protocols couldn't distinguish real rsETH from fake. One centralized bridge validator + rehypothecated collateral = cascading failures across multiple protocols. No actual backing, just recursive IOUs.
The NYAG sued Coinbase and Gemini for operating illegal gambling platforms—not for listing securities, for offering derivatives and prediction markets to New Yorkers without a license. Coinbase's crypto derivatives perpetuals and Gemini's options products don't qualify as regulated exchanges under New York law. The case argues these are gambling products, not investment vehicles.
Aave paused certain markets after the rsETH liquidation cascade hit $15M in bad debt. The issue wasn't a direct hack on Aave—it was that Aave accepted rsETH as collateral without verifying the underlying assets actually existed. Leverage stacking in low-liquidity pairs triggered mass liquidations faster than oracles could update prices. Aave governance voted to freeze deposits in affected markets while they recalibrate risk parameters. DeFi's collateral layer is built on trust in external protocols—when one breaks, the whole stack collapses.
Coinbase launched Agentic.Market as "the homepage of the agent economy"—a marketplace where AI agents discover and buy services from other agents. No API keys required, powered by x402 protocol. Thousands of services listed. The pitch: agents need their own commerce layer, separate from human-facing platforms. Coinbase is betting AI-to-AI transactions become a bigger market than human-to-AI.
AI Roundup.
Anthropic released Claude for Design—a Figma plugin that generates production-ready UI components from text prompts. Figma's stock dropped 8% on the news. The plugin pulls from design systems, maintains brand consistency, outputs actual code. It's not generating mockups. It's generating implementation.
Google open-sourced Stitch, an AI design system tool that auto-generates component libraries from a single screenshot or design file. Feed it one screen, it extracts patterns and builds a full design system with spacing tokens, color palettes, typography scales. Free, MIT license.
OpenAI's Codex added memory—it now remembers your codebase structure, your preferred libraries, your naming conventions across sessions. No more re-explaining context every conversation. It builds a persistent model of how you code and adapts suggestions accordingly.
✨ SheFi Takeaway: DeFi just proved its collateral layer is built on recursive trust assumptions—one bridge fails and the liquidations cascade through every protocol that accepted the fake backing. Meanwhile, Coinbase is building infrastructure for agents to transact with each other, and AI design tools are moving from "generate a mockup" to "generate the implementation." The gap isn't technical literacy anymore. It's knowing which foundations are solid and which ones are stacked IOUs waiting to unwind.
