In September 2021 at a Variant mixer on an NYC rooftop, I received a divine download that Jon Wu was my soulmate.

We were casually chatting about my upcoming trip to Joshua Tree—nothing flirty, nothing romantic—when suddenly, a deep, inner knowing spoke to me clearly:

“He’s the one.”

It wasn’t butterflies or infatuation.

It was a moment of stillness in the middle of the noise.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that just 24 hours earlier, I had called that moment in.

How?

Through something I call the 80-word ritual.

At 11:30pm the night before, I read it was a powerful day to manifest. I didn’t want to let the moment pass, so I stayed up late to write 80 qualities I wanted in a partner.

Not the superficial stuff:

❌ Height
❌ Job
❌ Net worth
❌ Looks

But the real stuff:

✔️ Kind
✔️ Service-oriented
✔️ Funny
✔️ Loving

After filling the page, I ripped it out of my notebook, folded it, and tucked it into The Little Prince, a cherished book given to me by Iain McCaig, someone I deeply admire.

I went to bed trusting the process, thinking that I was manifesting someone in the future.

Turns out, he was already in my life.

Later that night, after my divine download with Jon, I met my friends at a Jungle concert. I told my best friend,

“I think I just met THE guy.”

When Jon messaged me later that evening, I knew something was unfolding.

And I was right.

Now, four years later, we were expecting our first child together. 

And I used the 80-word ritual again, this time before giving birth.

I focused on how I wanted to feel:

✨ Empowered
✨ Held
✨ Calm
✨ Safe
✨ Connected

And while the birth didn’t go perfectly, I moved through it anchored in those intentions. The energy I called in made all the difference.

I wanted to share this with you because, in SheFi, we’re always calling in reinvention. 

Every cohort is a fresh start. A reclamation. A return to self.

This ritual became one of my most trusted tools in life’s biggest transformations—love, motherhood, next chapters. So I wanted to pass it on to you.

• Meta invests $15 billion to reshape AI leadership. Meta has invested heavily by building a new superintelligence team (led by Scale AI’s founder Alexander Wang), signaling intent to rival OpenAI and Google.

• Stripe buys Privy. Privy announced that Stripe is acquiring the developer-focused embedded wallet infrastructure startup, and Privy will continue operating as an independent product to accelerate its mission of making crypto and fiat indistinguishable for users.

• Crypto platform Tron strikes deal with Nasdaq-listed company. Justin Sun's crypto platform, Tron, has reached a deal with Nasdaq-listed company SRM Entertainment.

• AMD unveils 2026 AI server chips to challenge Nvidia. AMD announced a new server-grade AI chip line set to debut in 2026, positioning it as a direct competitor to Nvidia’s dominance

• JPMorgan moves further into crypto with stablecoin-like token, JPMD. The U.S. banking giant told CNBC on Tuesday that it’s planning to launch a deposit token on Coinbase’s public blockchain Base, which is built on top of the Ethereum network.
