I Said Yes!

On Christmas Day, 2023, I got engaged!

My youngest brother had set up a White Elephant gift exchange, and when I went to open my gift, there was another gift inside. And another gift inside that one. And in the very last gift was my ring!

I will never forget the moment I realized what was happening, seeing Jon on one knee, hearing the cheers (and tears!) that erupted from my family. Jon is my soulmate, and I can’t wait for this next chapter of our lives together.

We spent the holiday break reflecting, planning, and celebrating.

Jon is not only my soulmate, but also my biggest cheerleader, confidante, and advisor. During the holiday break, we looked back at 2023 and looked ahead to 2024.

Planning for this year and the years to come is both incredibly exciting and scary at the same time. It’s never a guarantee that plans are going to work out, especially when they ambitious and involve stepping into uncharted territories. Yet, it's the journey of navigating these uncertainties with grit and grace that often lead to remarkable outcomes as I mentioned in my last newsletter.

2024 is going to be one of the most terrifyingly ambitious years of my life. Here’s what I have in store for the SheFi community:

SheFi Summit Goes Global

After two wildly successful SheFi Summits in Paris and Istanbul, I’m ecstatic to share that we're expanding the series globally in 2024!

SheFi Summit is a female-first experiential event series. We facilitate meaningful connections between people, projects, and ideas. Our events bring together the top female leaders, thinkers and builders in the space for a day of education, building and networking. 

SheFi Summit is: Fully Feminine. Fully Attended. Fully Engaged.

We’re bringing our events to:

• ETHDenver: Denver Colorado, February 28, 2024

• ETHSeoul: Seoul, South Korea, April 2, 2024

• ETHCC: Brussels, Belgium, July 7, 2024

• ETHSafari: Nairobi, Kenya, September 2024

• Devcon: South East Asia, TBD 2024

SheFi Season 10 enrollment is open!

This season our theme is “The Frontier Is Feminine.”

SheFi empowers female and non-binary entrepreneurs and executives to succeed in frontier industries. Season 10 of SheFi continues building on our track record of crypto expertise while also adding new content focused on the opportunity in AI posed by the advent of large language models. Members will receive 13 weeks of immersive instruction, hands-on tech demos, and peer support, all aimed at advancing careers in crypto and AI. 

Enrollment for Season 10 closes on February 22, 2024. Spots are limited and enrollees are considered on a first-come first-serve basis. 

In the second half of 2024, we have significant revamps to our course content planned, highlighting the biggest trends in crypto.

Career Acceleration

We’ve recently relaunched a SheFi talent portal to aggregate our incredible members, who are leaders in traditional finance and tech companies looking to make the jump to Web3.

Typically, we share jobs in our Discord and connect our members through referrals. We are partnering with freelance recruiters to streamline this process and get our incredible community placed with the best web3 and AI companies.

SheFi Community Updates

SheFi’s second grants round with Octant is live! Octant has donated 6 ETH to a matching pool that will be distributed across 22 female-led projects through quadratic voting by the community. You vote by a donating a financial contribution to a project, and it receives funds from matching from the pool. Even $1, $5 or $10 makes a difference because the pool is matched by number of votes — not dollar amount. To learn more about how voting works, watch the video from this tweet. The voting period ends on January 10, 2024! So get those votes in and help these female founders get funded!
