SheFi Summit Bangkok Recap, Season 13 Applications Live, Global Events
It was Sunday at 10 pm in New York. I was sitting in my bed, clutching my phone, refreshing my messages.
SheFi Summit Bangkok was about to start.
This would be the first ever SheFi Summit without me there. After not being able to travel due to medical reasons, I was stuck at home - 8,651 miles away with a 12 hour time difference. As I was heading to bed, the event was about to start.
“I’m nervous,” I told Jon.
“Well, is there anything you can do?” he asked.
Then it hit me: no. There was nothing more I could do.
I had to trust.
After all, I had prepared the team for months. I built the blueprint. With some guidance from me, they recruited speakers, drafted the agenda, led sponsor meetings, secured the merch, and collaborated with vendors. The work, love and hours they were putting in were apparent.
It was getting late for me, and I knew that for my well-being, I needed to sleep. So I messaged our SheFi team group chat: “I’m signing off for now. Good luck, enjoy the day, and trust it will all work out.”
When I woke up the next morning, I was in awe.
I scrolled through beaming selfies of women waving their SheFi fans all over my timeline. The event was a massive success.

When I woke up the next morning, I texted our designer, Alyssa Mae, who was in attendance.
“Did people show up??”
In all caps, she replied back immediately: “OMFG, YES!!”
I learned people came before doors even opened, saying that they knew Bangkok traffic was bad and couldn’t risk being late for SheFi Summit. Sure enough, we were out of our first-come-first-serve 300 bags of custom merch within the first two hours. Over 500 people attended.
And the team didn’t disappoint. When people were lingering in the lunchroom as Melyn McKay’s talk was set to begin, team members Ela, Juanna, and Alyssa Mae stood on chairs in the lunchroom to get everyone’s attention. They told attendees to bring their food and themselves to the main room to learn all about Web3 and public aid. With this effort and enthusiasm, it ended up being one of the most packed talks - and an undeniable crowd favorite.
While this may have been the first large-scale SheFi event without me, it won’t be the last. Our community is what makes SheFi so incredible, and in 2025, we’ll continue to create ways for this powerful community to steward our mission.
Thank you to each and every one of you who attended SheFi Summit Bangkok. Thank you for your trust. And thank you for your unbeatable vibes, as always.
And don’t worry - SheFi is still my baby, even though she’s beginning to leave the nest.
I’m so excited to see you at SheFi Summits in 2025.

Member Highlights from the Summit ☀️
"Right time, right place, with the right people.” That’s exactly what the SheFi Summit Bangkok 2024 felt like for me.
As someone transitioning into Web3, it was surreal to have both Devcon and SheFi Summit land in my hometown, giving me the chance to not only learn but also share my culture, food, and warmth with an incredible global community.
SheFi has been a game-changer in my journey. Coming from 8 years of driving growth for healthcare and media and ads industries across APAC, I always felt something was missing—until now. Meeting Ornella, my first-ever Web3 friend, brought me into this empowering community of women and non-binary innovators. They’ve made the leap into Web3 feel less lonely and infinitely more inspiring.
The best part of summit? I finally met internet friends IRL and having those unexpectedly honest, hilarious conversations (like, “Are you a mews mews with the fox?”). With my SheFi family, I feel safe to show up as my true self. Even though I didn’t get to meet Maggie this time, her vision for SheFi and the endless opportunities she’s created inspire me daily. This Summit wasn’t just an event—it is a reminder that Web3 isn’t just about tech, it’s about people.

Finally met fellow Cohort 12 SheFiers IRL in Bangkok! Connecting in person with like-minded individuals who are equally passionate. This gathering in Bangkok wasn’t just a meeting—it was a celebration of the progress we've made and a testament to the supportive network that SheFi fosters. I left with new insights, strengthened connections, and a renewed drive to continue learning and contributing. The frontier is feminine!

I enjoyed the whole day, everything was perfect! The funniest part was when we spotted these frogs at the end during the dinner in the park. I even got one in a Telegram selfie with a new SheFi friend Kasia.

The SheFi Summit in Bangkok was an unforgettable experience for me. I had the chance to meet so many inspiring people, have countless meaningful conversations, and participate in some truly insightful panel discussions.
One of the most memorable moments for me was the panel titled “Girls Just Wanna Have Funds.” This topic resonated deeply because I’ve always believed that women should have financial independence and earn equally with men. Sadly, this isn’t always the case, but events like SheFi show how important it is to create spaces where women can grow financially and support each other. We absolutely deserve respect, recognition, and equal opportunities - it’s something I feel very strongly about!
A personal highlight for me was receiving a SheFi-branded fan. It might seem small, but it’s a keepsake that will always remind me of my first SheFi Summit in Bangkok.
This Summit not only confirmed my beliefs but also deepened my passion for supporting and growing this community. I don’t want to miss any future SheFi Summits. I want to continue being part of this journey, building and growing together with this amazing group of people.
Thank you so much for organizing such a fantastic event. I’m genuinely excited to see where this community goes next!

After attending SheFi Summit Bangkok, it’s clear: Women bring a unique and much-needed voice to the crypto world! It’s not just about markets and numbers—there’s a powerful focus on social impact, the environment, and even pets!
The vibe was softer, more inclusive, with breaks for meditation and yoga reminding us that balance matters. Love seeing how women add care and compassion to this space.
Here’s to more events that bring these values forward!
