We Put Love to the Test.
When love gets the chance to show its strength.

Hi – Jon again. For those of you don’t know me, I’m Mr. SheFi (Maggie’s husband). Maggie has a horrible case of food poisoning this week, so I’ve been granted the honor of writing a guest post. Below is a lightly edited version of a love letter I wrote for Maggie on Twitter.
Hope you’re doing well. Enjoy:
–
When you progress from dating to marriage, a strange kind of inversion happens.
The special days don't feel as special. The birthdays and anniversaries and vacations feel more mundane.
Because good times require little of love.
Specialness in marriage comes instead from discovering new ways to love through the tedia. Loving through the boring, the painful, the downright annoying.
In those moments love is put to work. And like a dog it races into the field, brimming with athleticism.
My favorite moments are ones that should be frustrating. When our baby projectile vomits at the restaurant bar on date night. When we're so tired we can barely walk. When someone inevitably makes a mistake.
In those moments we both allow ourselves a chuckle, because those are the times we get to admire our love.
Love that is strong and limber relishes life's little challenges. They become sporting contests.
It's only in the face of annoyance that you can witness love exercising its litheness.
Wow! you remark, watching it at work--panting and sprinting to forgive and accommodate. It's so capable. It's so strong. It makes overcoming look effortless.
It flexes its sinew, smiling and breathless.
Miserable tasks are joys to a great love.
Love can be run to the ground. Worked to the bone. And far from being tired, a healthy love begs for more.
Love is a ceaselessly vigorous optimism. It grins even when you shake your head at it, incredulous at its capability.
That's kind of what it's like.
Happy anniversary, Maggie.

SheFi Power Lunch Recap ✨
Last week SheFi teamed up with Octant and Alchemy to host our Power Lunch, built to bring senior women across the industry into one room.
And it delivered. A full, loud, alive room of women networking and trading ideas, with Fidelity, JPMorgan, Mastercard, DTCC, Coinbase, Circle, Galaxy, Fireblocks, Chainlink and Ondo Finance all together. We had such a good time, we had to be reminded the event ended at 2pm.
Put this many powerful women in one room and things happen. Introductions, deals, hires, and the kind of honest conversation you only get with women who've been where you're going.
And more importantly, everyone leaves a little more connected, ambitious, and sure they belong.
We're going to keep building these rooms for the women moving the industry forward.
There's a seat in it for you. Apply for the Inner Circle below.

AI Tip of the Week 💡
My Agent Booked the Power Lunch Venue.
The Power lunch was a room full of executive women in crypto, TradFi, and DeFi in NYC. I didn't source the venue. My AI agent did.
I texted my agent maia with a prompt containing the brief, budget, and the location preferences. She emailed 30 venues, handled every reply, negotiated to my number, and came back to me with a shortlist.
I'm a team of three, and I'm the only one in New York. The time consuming work of searching, outbound emails, back-and-forth, and the budget, I can hand that off now.
The taste, I can't.
A room says something before anyone walks in. I wanted one that felt like a place these women would gather on purpose, so I picked the space, the feel, and the final menu myself.
She did the outbound and the emailing. I made the call.
I got hours of my time back. And I spent every one of them on the work only I can do.

Crypto + AI Roundup — SheFi Edition 🏇
Crypto Roundup.
Coinbase wants to be the only finance app you open. Its big "System Update" this week pushed it further toward what it calls the "Everything Exchange," putting crypto, stocks, options, prediction markets, pre-IPO bets, and token launches in one place. Two pieces stand out. Coinbase Advisor is an SEC-registered AI advisor built into the app that reads your portfolio and the news and hands you personalized strategies (it can't trade for you, but it'll tell you what it would do). And there's a new credit card you unlock by pledging $500 to $5,000 in USDC as collateral, aimed at people who can't get approved for traditional credit, with 5% back in bitcoin on travel booked through a new Booking.com portal. The pitch: why keep your money at a bank and your investments at a brokerage when one app can do both?
Pump.fun, the Solana platform that let anyone mint a memecoin in seconds and defined the 2024 to 2025 memecoin frenzy, has cooled hard. The share of its tokens that "graduate" into real markets fell to 0.26% last week, down 80% in three months, and its revenue has slid to around $800,000 a day in June from $4.8 million a day six months ago. The slump is big enough to drag on Solana itself, with network fees now a fraction of January's, as memecoin money migrates toward perp trading on Hyperliquid. The timing is the interesting part: just as the original memecoin casino fades, Coinbase is folding Pump.fun launches into its main app through a new "Launches" tab. The frenzy is going mainstream right as the frenzy itself dies down.
A bipartisan group of seven senators, led by Cynthia Lummis, pushed the Treasury this week to protect states' right to regulate stablecoins. Last year's GENIUS Act set the first federal rules for stablecoins but left room for smaller issuers, under $10 billion, to be overseen by states instead, as long as state rules closely match the federal ones. The catch: Treasury hasn't said how or when states can get certified to do that, leaving places like New York, which spent years building real crypto rules, in limbo. It's a small, technical fight, but it's the kind that decides who actually holds power over the dollar-backed tokens now moving billions a day.
AI Roundup.
Anthropic's most powerful public model lasted three days. Claude Fable 5 launched June 9. On June 12, the US government issued an export-control directive citing national security, and Anthropic pulled both Fable 5 and its bigger sibling Mythos 5 offline for everyone, worldwide. The trigger: the government believes someone found a way to jailbreak Fable into finding security holes in code. The order technically only barred foreign nationals, but since Anthropic can't check your passport in real time, the only way to comply was to shut it off for the whole planet. This is the first time a government has yanked a frontier model off the market instead of the company that built it. And it put Anthropic in an awkward spot, because they spent the last year asking for exactly this kind of government oversight, and are now on the receiving end of it.
SpaceX is buying Cursor, the AI coding tool a lot of engineers now swear by, for $60 billion in stock. The deal landed days after SpaceX's record-breaking IPO and folds Cursor into the AI empire Musk has been building since absorbing xAI earlier this year. Cursor went from founded in 2022 to roughly $2.6 billion in annual revenue, which tells you how fast AI coding is moving. One wrinkle worth knowing: Cursor runs heavily on Anthropic's Claude under the hood, so every time someone uses it, money flows to a competitor. Owning Cursor lets Musk try to route that back to his own models. Rockets, satellites, a social network, and now the tool engineers use to write code, all under one roof.
A startup called Taste Labs came out of stealth this week with $18.5 million and a mission worth repeating: end AI slop. The bet is that AI has gotten great at objective things (math, code, generating anything on command) but still has no taste. It can't reliably tell you what's actually good, what fits, what feels like you. Taste Labs wants to turn that fuzzy, subjective sense into something measurable that models can learn, co-led by CRV and Amplify Partners. They're starting with design, working with the big AI labs on training data and with app companies on tools to keep outputs on-brand. If they pull it off, the gap between AI that's impressive and AI that's actually good stops being luck.
