You Can Have Whatever You Want.
The moment you get specific, everything changes.

Last week, Jon and I were walking our usual loop through the neighborhood—past the house that looks like a 1950s diner, past a sprawling shingle-shake Cape Cod with a wraparound porch facing the water that I pretend I wouldn't live in (I absolutely would). I had Summer strapped to my chest, her little socked feet poking out.
We were talking about our income goals for the year. We'd already doubled our expectations from where we started. And then he said something that stopped me mid-stride.
"Why not 10x?"
I laughed. Like, actually laughed out loud. And then I caught myself.
Why was that funny? Why did my brain immediately file that under "absurd"? What's the worst thing that could happen if we planned for 10x? We don't get it. Okay. And? Haven't we survived not getting things before?
We have. Many times. And here we are.

Here's the truth: with crypto and AI, there is no gatekeeper between you and your dreams anymore.
I remember when I first bought ETH in 2017. My roommate worked in venture capital at the time—she had access to all the insider deals, all the early-stage opportunities. And she told me her firm wasn't allowed to touch crypto. They didn't understand it yet.
And I thought: Oh. Now it's my turn.
I just went and bought it. No one had to approve me. No one had to let me in. The people who usually had all the alpha were, for once, on the outside. That feeling? That's agency.
And now AI is doing the same thing, but faster.
I recently built myself an AI chief of staff—I shared how I did it on Instagram and it got 314 comments (link). Not because I'm technical. Because I got specific about what I actually needed it to do. It asked me questions. I had to think through what I wanted before it could build anything useful.
That's the part people avoid.
Because getting specific is the scariest part.
It's so much easier to say I want financial freedom than to say I want to make $500K this year. It's easier to say I want to feel empowered than to say I want to run my own fund. The vague version feels safe because it can't be wrong. You can't miss a target you never named.
Jon didn't say "why not more?" He said 10x. A number. And my body reacted before my brain could catch up—because a number can be missed. I think that's what scared me. Not that 10x was impossible. That saying it out loud would make me look ridiculous if I didn't get there.
I'm a huge believer in feelings. You have to feel it to build it. But the feeling you need is what if this all works out? Not the fear. Not the embarrassment. The actual electricity of wanting something specific and letting yourself believe you can have it.
When I bought ETH in 2017, I didn't "explore crypto." I opened Coinbase and bought $500 worth. The action was small. The clarity made it possible.
Women in this community have gone from what's a wallet? to leading crypto roles at institutions like Invesco, ConsenSys, OKX, and Base — not because SheFi handed them a career, but because they got specific about what they wanted and then built toward it.
That's the difference between people who use these tools and people who keep meaning to. It's not intelligence. It's not access. It's the willingness to say a number, name a want, pick a direction—and be okay with adjusting if it's wrong.
I'm still getting comfortable with 10x. I don't say it casually yet. But I stopped laughing at it. And that shift—from absurd to possible—didn't require a single new skill. Just a willingness to get specific about what I actually want.
The blockchain doesn't need your resume. The AI doesn't need your credentials. They just need you to show up with something real to say.
So what's your absurd ask? The one that makes you do that nervous, who-do-I-think-I-am laugh. Name it. Get clear.
If you know someone who's been keeping their goals vague on purpose, forward this to them.

SheFi is IRL at Network School
It’s kind of a dream to see SheFi happening IRL like this — a crew learning, downloading wallets, trading, and staking together at Network School.
Huge credit to Britt for making it happen and bringing SheFi into the room!

SheFi x Baseapp She Trades Hat

We made a She Trades hat with Base App and I’m not even going to pretend I’m not obsessed with it. This DeFi week is about actually trading — not just talking about it, not thinking about maybe one day doing it, but doing it.
Onchain. With your own wallet. The hat is the vibe. The skill is the flex.

Crypto + AI Roundup — SheFi Edition 🏇
Crypto Roundup.
Google dropped a quantum computing paper March 31 saying they can crack Bitcoin in 9 minutes. One-third of all Bitcoin—6.9 million coins—vulnerable. Requires 500,000 qubits, 20x less than anyone thought. They’re urging post-quantum migration by 2029.
Aave V4 went live on Ethereum March 30. Hub-and-spoke design separates liquidity from risk—same pool, different markets. Real-world assets, fixed-rate lending, institutional credit. Lido, EtherFi, Kelp, Ethena, Lombard at launch. Two years building, almost a year in audits.
NYSE parent ICE poured another $600M into Polymarket March 27—now $2B deep. October deal valued it at $9B. Polymarket’s charging fees starting March 30, reportedly eyeing $20B valuation next round. Wall Street’s buying prediction markets, not dabbling.
AI Roundup.
Anthropic leaked their new model “Claude Mythos” by accident March 26. They confirmed it—“step change” in performance, “most capable we’ve built.” Early access testing now. Draft said it poses “unprecedented cybersecurity risks.” When you confirm the leak instead of denying it, launch is close.
Google shipped real-time translation in headphones with Gemini—keeps the speaker’s voice, works on iPhone and Android. Anthropic’s heading for IPO at $19B annualized revenue. OpenAI’s ad business hit $100M annualized.
xAI’s entire founding team left. Meta delayed Avocado to May—it’s underperforming. Brett Adcock started another stealth AI lab.
✨ SheFi Takeaway: Google just told crypto the quantum threat is years closer than expected. The NYSE is betting $2B that prediction markets become a permanent asset class. Anthropic’s racing to IPO while leaking their most powerful model. Everything’s accelerating—and the companies moving fastest are the ones deciding what comes next.
